Join us in Costa Rica for an adventurous yet relaxing getaway filled with yoga, hiking, snorkeling, mental conditioning, journaling, and laughter among good people. This is an opportunity to gain a greater sense of who you are while connecting to a sense of higher Self. This trip is an experience to open the gates for you to optimize your health, dream bigger, and begin living in abundance.
As your retreat leaders, we look forward to holding space for each of you. We met as military spouses in a yoga community and brought our dream of *ubuntu* to you.

The Answers You Need
DOES THE PRICE INCLUDE FLIGHTS?
The price does not include flights but it does include a boat transfer from either the Golfito airport or the Puerto Jimenez airport. You can buy connecting flights from SJO through Sansa Airlines
WHAT ABOUT THE FOOD?
Three exceptional meals are prepared each day. Each menu offers three options which include vegetarian offerings. Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge serves healthy, fresh Latino-style cuisine. Emphasis is on local cuisine and fresh fish, tropical fruits and vegetables. The 165 acre preserve abounds with tropical fruit trees bearing mangos, pineapple, starfruit, oranges, lemons, papayas, water apples, bananas, and of course, coconuts. The fresh squeezed juices and salsas are limitless! They even bake their own breads and desserts! They will cater to your diet needs and restrictions!
IS THE WATER OKAY TO DRINK?
And, yes… the water at Playa Nicuesa is drinkable right from the tap. A natural spring supplies the lodge all its water, and we have a UV and sediment filtration system, as well.
IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED? THIS IS MY VACATION, AFTERALL.
They have a fully stocked bar, complete with beer, wines, sodas and a full range of liquors. Don't miss Happy Hour each night from 6-7 pm with drink specials and appetizers. It's a great time to catch up on the day's activities!
INTERNET AND WIFI?
The lodge does have free internet/wifi service that may be accessed on your phone or portable electronic in the common areas of the main lodge.
WHAT ABOUT COVID TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS
Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge is a "SafeTravels" certified operation. SafeTravel is the World Travel and Tourism Council's seal of approval which helps identify destinations and businesses that have adopted a new set of global safety and hygiene protocols. Each set of protocols takes into account current World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control guidelines.
As the restrictions around the world begin to loosen, and travelers like yourself start planning your well-deserved vacation, we are thankful to report that all of the Nicuesa Team members are fully vaccinated, in excellent health and fully prepared to safely welcome guests to Nicuesa.
